The Hunter Region Tourism Organisation (HRTO) announces its building a Digital Destination Network with the addition of a dedicated Hunter Valley website.
As the second website in it’s growing Digital Destination Network, the Hunter Valley website is designed to work hand-in-hand with HRTO’s official Hunter Region website, giving members another way to showcase their business and providing travellers with more ways to explore the region – from the broad appeal of the Hunter Region to the unique experiences of the Hunter Valley.
Available exclusively to HRTO members, the Hunter Valley website takes a traditional, geographic view of the Hunter Valley and is expected to stimulate greater interest and visitation by showcasing a wide variety of experiences and attractions across the region, including Dungog, Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook, Upper Hunter and Maitland Council areas.
From wineries and restaurants to boutique stays, country escapes, fishing, trail riding and agritourism, including authentic farm experiences, the website will continue to grow to showcase of some of the Hunter Valley’s most popular tourism attractions and experiences. HRTO Members can benefit from increased exposure through feature articles, links to drive traffic to their own websites, and exclusive opportunities to connect with travellers seeking authentic local experiences.
“We’re excited to provide another valuable opportunity for our members,” said Troy White. “By increasing their visibility through HRTO’s Digital Destination Network, we’re helping members generate more enquiries, more bookings, and ultimately, attracting more visitors to the region and encouraging them to stay longer. We’ll have more news about additional destination websites soon, further expanding the benefits available to our members”.
HRTO offers two membership options:
- Associate Membership — Free ($0)
- Full Membership — $220 per year, with additional benefits including enhanced online visibility, promotional opportunities, and exclusive marketing initiatives such as the Digital Destination Network.
With engaging content, curated listings, and increasing search visibility, the Hunter Valley website strengthens HRTO’s mission to promote the region and deliver tangible benefits for members.
